Michael's Dad
08-23-2001, 10:26 AM
Hello to all.
My name is Eric and we (Michele and I) have three wonderful boys aged 8 (Matthew),6 (Andrew), and 3(Michael).
As you can see from my "handle" Michael is the reason I am here today.
I have stumbled across your board from FEAT News [featnews@feat.org], which I signed up for yesterday.
Yes there is much to learn about PDD-NOS and Autism.
My wife is the expert, reading constantly and learning daily. Also, she is a registered pharmacist with her Doctorate degree from Mercer University in Atlanta. So if any members have drug questions, feel free to contact us at eaw1@bellsouth.net.
Michael is curently on GFCF diet (almost a year) with some slipups... Yes it is difficult, but the bowel movements are more solid, (not brown liquid) and his stimming seems to lessen.
We are most recently giving him DMG supplements.
Anyone out there have info about DMG or experiences?
I am appreciative of this website, that parents can come together and share our experiences, hopes, and love for our children.
Thanks,
Eric
