Hi everyone, my user name is tazzer30. I am the parent of a four year old daughter diagnosed with aspergers syndrome. I also have a younger brother with high functioning autism. I am very glad to find a place where others will know what I'm going through and might be able to answer some of my questions. I've been dealing with this disorder on a regular basis for years now, so hopefully I can also assist others who are new on the journey. I live in the St. Louis Missouri area, which is far behind as far as Autism Spectrum disorder is concerned, but they are trying. Thats all for now. I hope to here from all of you soon.:)

Hi there! My name is Sari but you'll see me as Jessesmom. My son is five
years old and he has been diagnosed with Autism since he was four. He is
going to start special ed kindergarten on the sixth of sept. We live in
Queens, N.Y. I am a single mother and a Registered Nurse. I just got my
computer last month and I have already learned alot and at least now I
know a little more than before. Gosh, it is kinda intimidating. I mean
basically, with ppd type diagnoses, the parent has to be the informed one.
We can't depend on anyone else to help us. Thank goodness for these
type of sites. Welcome. I hope to speak with you again soon.
