I have a three year old ASD son who i feel is very highly able but shows no awareness or understanding in potty training. I know this is a bit vague but does anyone have any serious tips.
I would be greatful of any help or advice as i dont know anyone socially with a ASD child.:)

Jill, for one thing, i think it might be helpful to you to get to know people socially who have a kid with ASD. Look for a support group.
Also, you might want to take a look at my book Small Miracles Day by Day. There are several chapters in it that talk about how to toilet train even a very low functioning autistic child. It is based on my personal experience, and if i do say so myself, i think its a good method. You could check my style of writing by going on to my website www.hostultra.com/~dara and clicking on "excerpt." It sells for about 12.95 through the publisher, and i think you can get it for less through some of the online bookstores. Amazon has it. If you would like you can get the ebook which costs significantly less than the hard copy. Dara
