Hellow everyone
On October last year, we moved to the USA (Boca Raton, Florida) from Caracs Venezuela. We have a 14 years old son was who diagnosed with Tourette and Asperger syndromes and possible ADD in Venezuela. Here he entered the public school on 7th grade and to our surprise he did better than expected and much better than in Venzuela where he was in an inclussion program at his school. He has been medicated for aproximately one year with Citalopram (anti depressive) to help him have a more relaxed life and a better social interaction, and before that he spent two years under Haldoperidol precribed for his sound and motor tics.
Given our new arrival into the USA, we have not yet been able to identify a proper specialist or institution to trust his case and follow up on his medical tratment and medication. As indicated by his doctor in Vzla the prognosis is good. However, he needs to be evaluated in an on going basis that reassures us that his problem is being monitored in the best way possible.
Should anyone knows whom can we contact or where to addresse ourselves, it would be highly appreciated.
