Husband with AS

Hi,
I am new here, and I hope that this question has not been asked before. I believe that my husband has AS. We have both read some of the literature online, and even he agrees that this sounds like him. My problem is, we do not have insurance at this time, and I would really like to get him into a doctor to see if this is true, and if so, then take it from there. We have a one year old son, and if my husband does have AS, I would like to know so we can be sure and watch our son for this. I live in the Florida and do not know where I could get these services without insurance. If anyone has any ideas, they would be a great help! Thank you!

I believe my husband is High Functioning AS or Asperger's but we have never gotten him tested. I worked with autstic children for many years before I got married and had children so when my son started showing a few signs at 18 months I go him tested right away.

I don't know much about Florida, but if you can't get your husband tested make sure you learn the signs and observe your son because early detection is the very important.
