She been get sick a lot and is small for her age but tall she's only 27 pds . Sabrina only eat cheese ,pasta, sweets, milk,oj,water, corn only if grilled, and her morning food has to be fruit loops, but she eats them color in the same pattern. a glass of milk has to be there too. and she goes on these month diet I call them were the food is the same thing for all meals. Or she wants the same thing every day. I work at publix in the deli and she loves the chix strip so every day i have to take her to get some. but I do make her ask the deli employer for them every day in a sentace by repeating me. I need help she's been sick for days and won't eat or take meds that the doc gave us is a big upset i have to hold her down to give it to her. Then she won't eat after that. Just last night she was mad and took the meds from me ,now remeber she's only four and when to the potty .She open the bottle and throw the meds in down the dran. so I went to get more for her , she seen that .tears came and we did it again. but she won't eat now.

Is it possible the medicine is upsetting her stomach so she doesn't want to eat after the medicine? If so, try to get her to eat something before giving her the medicine if it is OK to take the medicine with food. I know this is easier said than done. My daughter spent most of her life weighing well below the fifth percentile on those growth charts. I thought she was the pickiest little eater I had ever dealt with. I try to accomodate her wishes within reason. I tried for a while when she was a baby to encourage her to drink just a little more breast milk at feedings because we were desperately trying to get her to gain weight before they had to do open heart surgery on her. If she drank a drop more than she wanted, she tended to vomit her whole feed. When I started baby rice cereal, I think she was sure I was trying to kill her by the way she screamed. We did a sensory diet for her when she was younger because a lot of her food preferences seemed to be for sensory reasons. Ours was similar to the one Pompeyfan is doing for Walter. Now, I have decided to make a variety of foods available to her and let her choose for herself whether to try them. Sometimes my husband and I act like this is grown-up food and you can have a taste but only if you really want it. I praise her for trying it and I say nothing if she decides to spit the food out, which happens pretty often. I am trying not to worry too much about it anymore. One thing I do is try to get her to take a good multivitamin every day.

I feel for you having to hold Sabrina down to give her the medicine. We had to do that a lot sometimes to give medicine to Catherine. She takes it pretty well now, but it used to be a big battle sometimes in the past. She has been on daily medicine since she was a few days old.

thanks you for the in take.but eatting was abig problem before I had to make her stop breast feed because i was precency with our son. She breast feed unilt she was 18mths I couldn't get her to stop .I became sick over it .and she ate great with most baby food but after a year old rashes came and went and her behavior and grow stop or disappearied. I tell her to fight so I can get her mad to cough, then we give she the meds it helps out some.thanks again nicole

Does Sabrina have food allergies?
