i hate verbs

i need help how do you teach verbs to a pddnos 4 year old she is so upset tring to understand them and shuts down and avoids thems any ideas? nicole
hewr speech therpist is have a hard time with her and school too. we are lost for words big wall we hit and now it's been 4 months and impovments. :confused: :confused: :confused:

Verbs were tough for us as well. I think we tried to act some of them out.

we made videos with my ds for some older kid type things - but it might work for you. mine watched his frequently. reminds me - I should make one on how to eat at the table.!

If you have other kids or relatives they can help act things out for your video. - or use pictures in a book. you can focus on the magazine or whatever.
I know there is a sight that has sign language clips of people actually doing the sign for a word; maybe their is a site with little online videoclips of verbs?
