Nicole,
Maybe you could try some kid's musical videos to help Sabrina. What does she like? Barney has lots of songs. When Catherine was younger, she adored Teletubbies and then she started liking Barney and then Sesame Street. I ate my earlier words that she would NEVER watch children's videos and bought whatever kind she liked at the time. I loved hearing her try to sing the songs and try to repeat what she heard, sometimes much later. Does your library have children's videos so you can see if she likes them?
I'm trying to think what else we did. Catherine had apraxia, which I think means her muscles for speaking were not cooperating with her when she tried to speak. We had homework from her speech therapist like holding her tongue up behind her teeth to hold a Smartee candy or putting on lip gloss and rubbing our lips together in front of a mirror or blowing bubbles or a blowing toy. It depended on which muscles we were supposed to be "waking up", but we made the homework fun anyway.
