Has anyone ever tried Tenex??

My son's Dr. just put him on Tenex, well actually it's been almost a week now. The only improvement I've seen is in sleep. No behavior changes at all. He takes a nap in the day and sleeps all night. He never used to sleep day or night so this is a nice change, but I was wondering if it will help with anxiety or anger issues at all. Thanks.

My son's neurologist put him on Tenex last year and I did not see any change in his behavior either. My son's sleep seem to improve a little. So gradually we took him off and tried something else. I hope you have better success than we had with Tenex.

Our son was on Tenex for about 3 months--made what little speech he had slurred, started slobbering, was groggy. Got verbal tics with it, that did subside when we took him off, but started coming back after was off for 1 month--he goes to neurologist tomorrow--better not be Tourette's from it!!

My 7 year old son was put on Tenex about 4 1/2 years ago for ADHD. It is not FDA approved for children under 12 and it damaged my son's kidneys and liver to the point they were barely functioning. It also caused tics and seizures and a diagnosis of epilepsy - resulting in more medication. His developmental delays and behavior became so bad he was diagnosed with autism. He had headaches, joint pain, nightmares and tics. We finallly took him to a nutritionist who has literally saved his life. After extensive blood work, she and a biochemist determined the tenex was slowly killing him. He is off all medications, has no seizures and his behavior has improved to the point that we no longer believe he even has autism. He is on vitamins, minerals, amino acids and a high protein diet. And these changes have all happened in less than 3 weeks!
