I have been looking into it for my son. He has cerebral palsy. I've heard that it helps the brain. I'm just wondering if there's anyone who has used this therapy and if it has worked of at least helped a little bit.

How would it help your son's brain? Would that help his Cerebral Palsy?

Quacks will tell you all sorts of things: there are uses for it, but trying to improve mental function is not one of them. IIRC is that they're useful for promoting faster healing of wounds, and also for people with the bends: beyond that, I don't think there's any evidence they're good for anything else, and furthermore, if things aren't done right, they can cause such things as ruptured ear drums, etc. so I'd advise talking to your family doctor about such things, and even consider getting a second opinion, before going by what you see online or random hearsay.

I looked at Wikipedia and found this article about it and it seems that there really is some promise using it for Cerebral Palsy.
